Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
Joel Barish (Jim Carrey) decides to wipe off his memories of his ex girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) in a moment of anger, after he had found out that she did the same. But during the process, he realizes that he can’t go through with it as he watches his memories fade away, but it might be too late.
It’s not a new movie, but the romance, drama and sci-fi blend into a quite incredible love story worth watching.
Jonathan Trager (John Cusak) and Sara Thomas (Kate Beckinsale) met while shopping for gloves on Christmas Eve, each for their respective lovers. Although the magic was there, Sara decided to end things even before they start, convinced that they might meet again someday.
Many years later, both of them right before their weddings, they still can’t help asking themselves if they missed that one true love, so they decide to find eachother again.
